A little more than I can justify paying for a netbook that will be used mostly for cloud computing. I do plan on upgrading the runcore to 16gb.

Thanks for the retweet!

Re: Dell Mini9 OSX Netbook

Only problem with the Mini9 is the limited disk space. I have OS X running on an MSI Wind that has a 160Gb hard disk, so watching movies, listening to music, playing with iPhoto etc are all easily achievable and it runs very nicely. In fact I have started using it on a big monitor next to my 24" iMac as a browser machine while I do heavier stuff on the iMac ( setup Synergy so I can use my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse on iMac to control the MSI.

Beautiful !

Re: Dell Mini9 OSX Netbook

I thought that I would need an external DVD as well. I initially tried with my LaCie external burner, but the netbook would not generate enough power to spin the disc. (It's kinda old and sucky).

Creating the USB stick was a snap, the only thing that sucked was having to find a windows machine.

Re: Dell Mini9 OSX Netbook

Edward. Thanks for this, will have to try it out soon. Was worried I would need a external DVD drive (according to Gizmodo) but I guess I wont.

Cheers
